Wayne Craige is Founder & CEO of CiDrep, an Atlanta, GA informatics professional services and healthcare IT company.
As CEO, Wayne is responsible for managing the company, formulating and executing long-term strategies, and interacting with clients, employees, partners and other stakeholders. He is CiDrep’s primary decision- and policy-maker, setting the tone for the company’s values, ethics and culture. Wayne focuses on building long-term strategic relationships that cultivates and influence a strong culture to help clients achieve their financial, clinical, scientific and IT operational objectives through delivery and accountability.
Wayne exemplifies CiDrep’s commitment to helping its clients with scientific informatics professional services, Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management (PM) implementation, and healthcare IT products and solutions to Urgent Care, Ambulatory, Population Health, Long-Term Post-Acute Care, Behavioral Health, Home Health and PACS (Imaging) facilities — driven by our client’s efforts to improve human health.
Prior to CiDrep, Wayne was a director of information systems at APS Healthcare, Inc., a privately held company that provided specialty healthcare and customized integrated healthcare solutions across two major product lines: Care Management and Behavioral Healthcare. Prior to APS Healthcare, he was a manager at Accenture, a global management consulting and professional services firm that provides strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations services, where he work with management and technical teams, on large-scale technology projects for global companies and healthcare organizations. He also held a senior technical consultant position at Cerner Corporation, a supplier of healthcare information technology (HCIT) solutions, services, devices and hardware and work with technical teams that provides a range of intelligent solutions and services that support the clinical, financial and operational needs of healthcare organizations of all sizes. He also held systems engineering and technical consulting positions at PwC and IBM Corporation. He is involved in a number of industry healthcare organizations, the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA), American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).
Wayne graduated from DeVry University with a degree in Biomedical Informatics, where he graduated with Distinction then awarded a post-baccalaureate research scholarship at Emory University in basic biomedical research, earned a Masters degree in Health Services Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, received an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology and a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
